A grudge is too heavy for any Christian to carry. It is better to quit something you should not have started, than to finish it. Be bold in standing for truth and righteousness, but be very careful what you fall for. It is better to be despised and hated for doing right than to be praised for doing wrong. The man who sings his own praise will invariably get the tune too high. Some people are more concerned about where they will spend their two week’s vacation than where they will spend eternity. What a shame! Many have multiplied their possessions, but have reduced their moral values. It matters where we stand, with whom we stand and for what we stand. It matters where we stand and in what direction we are moving. He who will not forgive others breaks the bridge over which he himself must pass. It is more blessed to count your blessings than to count your woes. The garments we weave in time, we will wear in eternity. A man has a Scriptural right to do as he pleases, only as long as he pleases God in so doing. The poorest way to judge a preacher is on the basis of popularity.
